Flagstaff, AZ (August 6, 2019) – Around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 5, police were called to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident on Highway 89N in Flagstaff.
Authorities say that, at the time, an unidentified man and woman in Arkansas stopped to assist a driver who was involved in an accident. A suspect who had a knife jumped out of a vehicle and onto the couple’s vehicle, fighting with the man who received stabs to the hand.
The woman started driving away, which is when the man fell off the roof of the vehicle and hit the ground. He was instantly killed at the scene of the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
