Phoenix, AZ – 3-Vehicle Wreck Results in Serious Injuries at 35th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (September 29, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash on Saturday night.

According to officials from the Phoenix Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. at 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. Officers said a 21-year-old man driving his 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on 35th Avenue and didn’t stop for the red light at Thunderbird Road. He then collided with a Honda Accord traveling west. The 30-year-old man driving the Honda was ejected from his car.

Both men were transported to the hospital via ambulance, where they remain in serious but stable condition. Police are investigating impairment as a possible cause for the accident but have not released further details at this time.
