Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in 2-Car Wreck on I-10 at 27th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (September 29, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-car crash on Interstate 10 Sunday afternoon.

Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, at least one person was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Multiple units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist other victims and appeared to treat one person at the scene. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, including a Chevrolet pickup truck and a sedan, but the cause of the accident is unclear. It appears that both vehicles sustained damage in the multi-vehicle accident, which restricted all lanes on I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, at the 27th Avenue off-ramp. 

Authorities say that the crash investigation is ongoing.
