Prescott, AZ (September 26, 2019) – On Tuesday, September 24, a fatal head-on crash took place on Iron Springs Road in Prescott that took two lives.
The accident, according to police, took place around 3 p.m. just outside of Skull Valley. The driver of a Chevy truck was headed north toward Prescott when they suddenly went over the center lines and slammed head-on into a Toyota sedan headed south.
The two people in the Toyota, a drive and a passenger, were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the truck suffered injuries but are expected to be okay. None of the victim’s names have been released.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
