Scottsdale, AZ – Injurious 2-Car Wreck on L-101 at Raintree Dr

Scottsdale, AZ (September 14, 2019) – Two vehicles collided on AZ-101 at Raintree Drive on Saturday afternoon, resulting in at least one injury that required hospitalization.

Officials from the Scottsdale Police Department say that the wreck happened at 6:15 p.m. on Loop 101, also known as the Pima Freeway, at Raintree Drive. Authorities say that one black Ford pickup was rear-ended by a silver Acura sedan, causing it to spin out and come to a stop at the barrier next to the HOV lane. Both vehicles were traveling southbound when the wreck occurred. 

Parademics from an area hospital responded to the wreck, treating one victim at the scene and appearing to transport another via ambulance. Scottsdale Fire Rescue joined authorities at the scene to investigate.

The drivers’ information and the conditions of all parties involved have not yet been released.
