Tucson, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Accident Results in Fatality at Golf Links Rd

Tucson, AZ (September 22, 2019) – A fatal crash occurred early Sunday morning on eastbound Golf Links Road, according to officers from the Tucson Police Department.

Per official reports, the wreck occurred around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning and involved at least two vehicles, though it’s unclear if others were injured in the crash. Tucson fire rescue units and EMTs responded and said that one person died at the scene, though it appears that others may have been transported to an area hospital with injuries.

Eastbound Golf Links was closed from the Alvernon/Aviation exit to Swan Road for approximately four hours while police worked to determine the cause of the accident. However, police are continuing to investigate the wreck and ask that witnesses or anyone else with information call 911 or 88-CRIME, the anonymous tip line.
