Phoenix, AZ – 9-Year-Old Struck by Jeep on 21st Ave

Phoenix, AZ (November 14, 2019) – A 9-year-old girl was hit by a Jeep as she chased after an ice cream truck on Wednesday, November 13th.

The accident took place at about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Avenue and 21st Avenue.

Reports indicate that the girl potentially had a broken leg and was temporarily knocked unconscious. Her condition is classified as severe.

In spite of the little girl’s condition, she is expected to recover.

The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and has fully cooperated with authorities.
