Phoenix, AZ (January 21, 2020) – Injuries were reported on northbound Interstate 17 near McDowell Road after a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday, according to transportation officials.
Authorities say the accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. At that time, several vehicles collided and blocked the left lane, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Officials on the scene say that a pickup truck collided into another sedan.
Phoenix EMTs were at the scene and appeared to have transported one victim to the hospital, though that victim’s current condition remains unknown. The accident remains under investigation.
