Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Report in Multi-Car Crash on I-17 at Greenway Dr

Phoenix, AZ (October 12, 2019) – The Phoenix Police Department responded to a serious multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 Saturday night.

According to information from the scene of the accident, at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of northbound I-17, or the Black Canyon Freeway, near Greenway Drive around 7:30 p.m. Rescue units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist injured victims. EMTs appeared to treat one victim at the scene and transported another to an area hospital.

No word has been given on the severity of the victims’ injuries and officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
