Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in 2-Car Crash on I-10 at 16th St

Phoenix, AZ (October 11, 2019) – Injuries were reported after a crash on Interstate 10 near 16th Street, according to officers from the Phoenix Police Department.

Officials say that at least two sedans collided in the westbound lanes of I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, at 16th Street around 7:30 p.m. Fire rescue units from the Phoenix Fire Department and Phoenix EMTs arrived at the scene shortly after the crash occurred to assist the injured victims. It appears that at least one victim was transported to the hospital and another was treated at the scene.

The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
