Tucson, AZ – Man Struck & Seriously Injured at W Irvington Rd

Tucson, AZ (September 25, 2019) – A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a pedestrian accident on Tuesday.

According to officers with the Tucson Police Department, the accident occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. Around that time, first responders arrived at the scene and round the injured man at West Irvington Road and South 6th Avenue. Officer Ray Smith, a Tucson police spokesman, said the driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. Tucson paramedics transported the man who was struck to an area hospital via ambulance, where he remains in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing, but no charges or citations have been issued at this time.
