Tucson, AZ – Pedestrian Struck & Seriously Injured at Valencia Rd

Tucson, AZ (October 12, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Valencia Road Saturday night.

Officials from the Tucson Police Department said that eastbound Valencia Road was closed between 12th Avenue and Sixth Avenue for a few hours while they investigated the crash, which happened around 6:45 p.m. Officer Frank Magos, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, said that the pedestrian hit is an adult male. He was transported to an area hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.

The driver remained on the scene after the crash and cooperated with authorities. Police say that accident is still under investigation.
